Kelley Tree was in Marblehead, MA yesterday for the removal of two trees. These trees were in need of coming down because they were insect damaged. There are countless amounts of insects that live on, in and around all of our trees, and many of these are completely harmless. Unfortunately, there are a few insects that can cause fatal damages to your tree. It is important when insect damage is occurring, to find the damage that has been imposed before it is too late.
It is usually true that healthy trees are less likely to get attacked by insects, however if for some reason your tree is under stress(poor pruning, drought, etc.) it is more likely to have insect problems.
