Kelley Tree took time out from trimming branches, removing trees, and helping homeowners safely free up wires knocked down by the recent microbursts in Massachusetts to offer a young customer a tour of the Kelley crane. The crane allows Kelley arborists to not only reach branches high in the air but to also pull branches and logs out of hard-to-reach areas in backyards, narrow streets, and other tricky areas in need of tree services and removal.
Kelley recently removed a 200-plus year old American Beech tree in Dorchester, MA. This old girl had succumbed to disease and was no longer viable. The customer was very emotional about her loss of the Beech, and rightfully so. The tree and its branches were located directly above an 1800’s period original stain glass window, so it needed to be removed for safety and to protect property.
Tree came down perfectly, and at the end my crew and I were treated to a home cooked meal at the home owner’s own dining room table. She also provided fresh lemonade throughout the course of the tree removal. We love working for customers who really take care of us!
Our new crane arrived this past week and we immediately put it to work. We haven’t even had time to letter it up with Kelley Tree Service decals yet! It will soon be going in for a fresh coat of paint and some new Kelley Tree Service decals soon. The crane makes working with large trees much safer, expedient, and easier.
