Groundsperson/Laborer $20-$30/hr
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Woburn, MA. The Groundsperson/Laborer will be responsible for assisting with tree removal, pruning, and general tree care. Day-to-day tasks include operating machinery and equipment, clearing debris, and ensuring site safety. The role requires physical labor and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. We are looking for a motivated, reliable groundsperson to add to our tree service team. Prior tree experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome any highly motivated individual who is either experienced in tree care, or excited to learn a new and rewarding trade.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license, CDL-A a plus
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Commitment to 40+ hours a week
- Ability to report to equipment yard in Woburn promptly at 6:00AM every weekday
- Must be comfortable working outdoors, in sometimes varying weather conditions
Job Responsibilities:
- Feed brush into woodchipper
- Use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment
- Carry, lay out and stow materials, tools and equipment at work site
- Work from the ground using handsaws, pole saws
- Drive trucks or operate other equipment as assigned
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks and equipment
- Perform related work as assigned
Tree experience is preferred, but not required. This is year round work with plenty of overtime available.
Pay scale is $20 – $30/hr., to be determined based on experience. Benefits such as PTO, clothing allowance, health insurance and retirement plans are available.
Class A CDL Driver & Tree Laborer $28 - $40/hr
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Class A CDL Driver & Tree Laborer located in Woburn, MA. This role prioritizes safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines while delivering high-quality customer service and tree care support. CDL-A IS REQUIRED but experience in tree work is optional. This is a tree service labor position, where you will be driving commercial trucks to/from job sites and then completing tree care operations in between driving. We are willing to train the right candidate who is open to learning the tree service trade. Our yard is based in Woburn, MA and we serve Greater Boston and the North Shore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Arrive at our Woburn, MA yard at 6:00 AM daily, Monday through Friday. Additional weekend work is sometimes available and optional. -Safely and skillfully drive/maneuver commercial trucks
- Assist other staff with day-to-day operations
- Safely operate chainsaws, stump grinders, wood chippers, mini loaders, trucks, and towing trailers, etc.
- Perform basic daily maintenance. Greasing, fluid level checks, tire air pressure, and saw cleaning
Prior experience is great! But we will teach a highly motivated, intelligent individual everything they need to know in order to achieve success and internal growth inside the company. This is year-round work with plenty of overtime available.

Tree Climber $25 - $35/hr
This is a full time, onsite role for an experienced tree climber in Woburn, MA. This role prioritizes safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines while delivering high-quality customer service and tree care.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in the daily maintenance and safe operation of all equipment commonly used in tree care
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid/cpr certification
- Must have a working knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations
- Must be familiar with electrical hazards including appropriate operating procedures when in proximity to electrical conductors and aerial rescue techniques in the event of an emergency
- Must be able to work and maneuver at considerable heights under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
- Must possess physical strength and agility, good balance, good depth perception and the ability to hear verbal instructions from a distance
- Must be able to (or be trained to) climb and descend trees using rope and safety saddle; to learn, administer and implement emergency rescue techniques, including tree rescue and all applicable first aid techniques; must be able to quickly remove him/herself from a potential danger area.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at our Woburn, MA by 6:00 AM daily, Monday through Friday. Weekend work is sometimes available and optional
- Assist in preparing trucks and materials needed for the day’s work, at crew leader’s direction
- Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by the crew leader
- Maintain and keep track of all tools and/or equipment used in daily operation
- Observe and practice climbing and tree maintenance skills in a continued effort to improve their own professional skills
- Use all equipment and perform all jobs safely, making accident prevention a part of daily conduct
- Be ready and willing to assist other crew members in all aspects of daily work activities and shall be capable of taking a leadership role when required
- Lock out Tag out any tools and equipment that are damaged or unsafe.
